Story:
Finally a break from the Holidays and some rather chilly weather, we were able to head out for a quick day hike to the Watchung Reservation (Kids needed to use their new Hiking Sticks they got from Santa!). On the positive side its a quick drive to a great hiking area...the downside is you hear traffic and it was fairly crowded for a 39 degree day.
Given this was out first time at the Reservation, we followed the Trail from Trails.com, but the nice thing is thie reservation offers many different parking areas and trail lengths as well as Trail center which the kid's have actually gone to on a class trip.
With it so close I am sure we will return for the quick hike...
