Story:
There are a lot more wildflowers than last week, and we have had more rain so the waterfalls are still flowing strong, but there are nine of the beautiful cumulus clouds that graced the sky last weekend. Our destination was the waterfall at the head of Coal Canyon. We met Darrel there. He was born and raised in the area. His father and uncle moved to the area in 1937 to work in the mines. After photographing the falls and eating a bit, we headed out to find Crevice falls. We found it about 400 m SW from the waypoint we found on the internet. I expected to see hobbits or elves in this fairyland.
