Story:
Nice sampling of the trails available on the Greensboro Watershed, which has mile upon mile of trails along Lake Brandt, Lake HIggins, and Lake Townsend.
This hike goes along the Owl's Roost Trail, which has a enough ups and downs to move this outing into moderate territory. It's an official section of the Mountains to Sea Trail.
Trip writeup to come at Two-Heel Drive.

Tips:
Watch out for mountain bikers; they're pretty common on this trail.

jcool: you may have to convert it to GPX using a website like GPS visualizer. I've had lots of trouble with Garmin files not talking to each other. http://www.gpsvisualizer.com

Couldn't get the gpx file to work--Garmin Basecamp said "Invalid GPX file" I tried to manuallly load it and it wouldn't show up in the menus. I have a Garmin Oregon 450
