This morning I dropped Isaac off at school and could not resist popping down to Ironbridge to try the new Severn Gorge Earthcache as no-one had logged it yet.
I parked as suggested near the Ironbridge (60p for 2 hours) and set off to do my measurements by the bridge. Once I got these details I headed off up into Benthall Woods to climb up to the viewpoint at the top of the gorge and get the final numbers for the Earthcache there.
I then carried on to make a circular walk of it and stopped by to check on our adopted Alchemy Quest - Iron cache on the way. It took me a while to find it, but it's in great shape and with tons of space left in the logbook (despite a recent email from a finder saying otherwise).
A short walk through the woods from there and I was back at the Jeep having thoroughly enjoyed my walk and the cache.
