Story:
This was a three day trip at Point Reyes. The weather was unbelievable for Jan. Had 3 days of 70 degree, no wind and very clear hiking.
Did a loop starting at the Bear Valley trailhead, over to Coast Camp, then down Coast Trail to Wildcat camp and then back to Bear Valley. Each leg was about 8 miles. Also hiked down the beach to Sculptured Beach from Coast Camp and down to Alamere Falls from Wildcat. Both are great side trips.
Wonderful trip, highly recommend this loop as a way to see lots of the different terrain and ecosystems at Point Reyes.

Tips:
If you are looking for the "arch" at arch rock, is actually under the point that everybody stands on. If you backtrack several hundred feet, there is a steep path leading down to the creek which passes through the arch. At high tide, the waves wash through arch with lots of power, so be careful!

I did almost the same loop starting from another entrance only a month before. Unfortunately, I didn't know the arch was under the rock and we were standing right on top of it! I guess I'll have to go again...
