Tips:
Park at a pullout on the right that is unmarked as you go southeast from the westernmost entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. I'm afraid you'll have to use the gps point because I didn't count pullouts. The trail is vague, mostly following washes, except for the one midpoint which I marked with a gps point; it is a crude junction post.
