New year's hike with 3 generations of our family. Nice way to start 2008!

Tips:
This is a nice and easy hike on a wide and mostly flat trail through forest with some views on an open meadow. Great hike with kids.

Thanks for the comments. their was a bit of snow, mostly some icy patches on the trail. but yes, the area could use some snow. also check out the pictures of snow capped half dome in my other trip here http://www.everytrail.com/view_picture.php?picture_id=24289
