We where both like oh my god..... What a find.!!!!!!!!

God's Gift doesn't even explain the joy you feel here.
Some current trees are nearly 1600 years old, making the forest itself, just a baby 2100 years ago before Jesus walked on earth. Talk about time travel in real time. WOW.....

I included the drive from Sunnyvale since my Tom Tom Failed me on our way up to the Big Basin area. Figured you might want the details, so here they are.

We explored the tent/camper camp sites, after walking the redwood trail. The Visitor Center was also a nice historic place with history dripping off the walls. We where wondering what a Tent Cabin was.... after seeing the signs, so we drove up to check it out. Well Well WOW Again. The Tent Cabins... can be rented for 75 bucks a night. Open year round also. Wife is planning on packing up to spend a afternoon/evening doing a day hike and a romantic night living in a tent cabin by a fire, on a cool redwoods foreest evening. Then maybe a nice morning walk in the forest after some sausage an eggs. Checkout by Noon. A Quick <100 buck get away 4 two.

Pssss... Oh ya... I Got to say... The Garmin did much better then I expected..
the Tom Tom in the car lost signal all the time on the way up. The Garmin was on track all the time except in the restroom under tin and tall redwood trees.
