Story:
The prior year, we tried to ATV to Pinyon Peak Lookout. Half way there one machine quit and had to be towed back to camp. This year I was determined to make it all the way to the lookout. I arrived in the Cape Horn area midday and set up camp before heading upto the lookout. This year there were no mechanical problems. After enjoying the spectacular views and taking many photos I decided that I still had time in the day to do some more exploring. I continued east on the Loon Creek road until my fuel guage reminded me it was time to turn back. On the return trip I stopped at the site of the Feltham Creek Point lookout.
