Story:
I really loved el Chalten and I partially lucked out on the weather. The first day was perfect and we could see Fitz Roy on the bus ride into town. The second day started out nice but by the time we climbed the hill to Fitz Roy it had gotten cloudy and on the way back down the rain started. It rained the whole day but the next day cleared up again. The nature was beautiful and I found it to be easier and more enjoyable than Torres del Paine.

Tips:
The Rancho Grande hostel has an awesome chocolate cake that is delicious after a few days in the woods.
