As everyone will realise, Sunday was a fantastic Winter's day in Lancashire - not too much snow (certainly not compared to the North East) but very cold, which meant frozen ground - most importantly, no 'orrible sodden fields to trudge across.

We had a cracking day out - some decent walking and some very good caches, a couple of which stand out head and shoulders above other caches we've done recently, especially the urban caches around Blackpool.
Some great vantage points which on the day, delivered some fantastic views.
Very cold, but the sun was out most of the day, so when we were in the sun it was great, when we were in the shadow, it was so cold you could feel your blood thickening - a bit dramatic I know, but it's what's referred to as poetic license.
