Story:
Located next to quaint St. Peter's Village, most of this pleasant rocky and wooded and popular area is located within a state game land. French Creek travels through the eastern edge and past St. Peter's Village among boulders making for a beautiful and tranquil area. This area has an abundance of trails that travel along old railroad beds, along the creek and throughout the hills. Strewn throughout this area are remnants of a granite quarry with pieces of cut granite pieces abandoned throughout. There is a large parking area on the east edge within St. Peter's Village and two very small parking areas on the west edge on Trythall Rd.The attached photos are of French Creek just after a couple of days of heavy downpour. The creek is otherwise very calm. There is a multi geocache (GC10002B) in the area.
