Story:
Overnight trip with goal of summiting Indian Head Mountain. Started off at the Overlook Spur trailhead in Meads. Continued on the Overlook trail past the Overlook Mountain House Ruins and over to the Devil's Kitchen Lean-to area. Hiked around the bottom part of Indian head on Devil's Path and then climbed the Jimmy Dolan Notch trail. Made camp in the notch between Indian Head and Twin Mountain. Lazy morning at camp before taking off to summit Indian Head. Beautiful views of the Catskills from Devil's Path. Hooked back up with Overlook trail and backtracked to the car. Really great little loop for an overnight. Took the dog with us, there were a couple tricky spots on the descent from Indian Head, but he managed well, even with his pack on.

FYI - a lot of loose quarry stone on Overlook trail between Echo Lake and Devil's Kitchen.
