The Great Texas Tree Trail is a project that gets kids outside to create real and virtual arboretums at schools. It gets them fit and gives them both high tech and high touch outdoor learning experiences about trees, forestry and conservation. Travis will serve as one of the pilot school projects for the entire state. We hope to see a tree trail in every school in TX (8,961) and eventially the entire nation (132,000)!
