Story:
We started from the hikers parking lot. There are two ways to find the trail from here. One is just crossing the street and taking the North Plateau loop, the other is to turn right on the street, walk a few yards and turn left on the trail (it should be signed). We did the first option. The trail took us to the overlook point (reachable with the car too), the sky was clear and a beautiful panorama was there waiting for us. we took the closed Bankhead Pkwy (some maps don't show it) down a couple of yards till we turned right on the Sink trail. This part of the trail is pretty steep but not so rocky. We then hit the Mountain Mist trail and we turned right into it. After almost a mile the trail starts being on the side of the east part of the South Plateau loop but 30feet down the mountain! We passed on the side of large limeston rocks (I wish I had a wideangle camera), under one of them sombody decided to build a bench (see picture)! We turn right at the intersection with the Goat trail (actually it is a trail that brings to the Goat trail) and we made to O'Shaughnessy Point. There is a nice overlook over the valley and a deep jump down from a large rock. The overlook is right on this rock. We came back to the parking lot following the other branch of the South Plateau loop.

Tips:
Easy hike, large limestone rocks, pretty overlook. Non need of special equipment
