Came here on a scavenger hunt (for the Hawkwatch waymark) so followed the shortest route in and out.

On a more leisurely day, I would follow the Four Birds loop, but if you're here to see the view and only have an hour, this is the way to go.
That view is certainly worth it!
Tips:
There are two ways from the parking area to the viewpoint: the Orange trail, which is more scenic and has at least one surprise, and the Tower road, which has a gate keeping cars out, but that you can walk for a more direct approach, with less to see along the way.

Either way, you can walk there, enjoy the view and come back in about an hour.
