This trip has some great scenery and views. The path follows the Shatin river, and eventually follows along some high peaks right after Tai Po. Once at Plover Cove you can actually ride around all the dams, but I couldn't because of time constraints. I rented my bike outside Exit D of the Tai Wai KCR station. There are also plenty of spots to pick up something to eat or drink along the way.

Tips:
Ride around on your bike a little bit before you set off to make sure it is in ok position. I am 1 for 2 on bike quality...
