Story:
The Fixie Sixty was first held in October 2008 with an excellent showing of Bozeman cyclists turning out for a sixty mile course around the Gallatin Valley.Â
This year's course was 62.9 miles long and will wove throughout the beautiful roads and paths of the Gallatin Valley. This included some light dirt riding but was primarily asphalt. As the name implies, the race was open to fixed gear bicycles only. It was a closed-manifest alleycat race, meaning that the course was pre-determined and racers were required to follow said course with no deviation allowed.
