Grand Teton Four Low Elevation Lakes - Wyoming, United States

Story:
Having done a steep climb up into a snowy area the day before we were ready for a less strenuous but still attractive hike.  This walk takes one past four lakes (one large and three small) only the first of which is accessible by car.  There is only a little up and down, the trail is in good condition and there are frequently fantastic views of the various peaks including Mt Moran with the attractive and quiet lakes in the foreground.  Trapper Lake, the final one, is the smallest and perhaps not quite as beautiful but there is a stream with a beaver dam, fewer people and a hillock for our picnic with a great view.  Along Leigh Lake are numerous little short trails of use leading to beaches or other views of the lake.  We came back the same way; there is an alternative loop around Leigh Lake on the west side although this would require about 2 more miles and some elevation gain.
Tips:
We followed directions to start at the String Lake Picnic Area trailhead rather than the String Lake trailhead and that seemed like a good choice for this hike.  The trailhead has ample parking and restrooms.
