Not Quite the NYC Century

with a Polar G3

Story:

This for the most part is the NYC Century ride, put on by Transporation Alternatives.  The course is accurate until Broadway in Manhattan.  Then I started to follow a couple of riders who were following a Marshall.  Unfortunately, the Marshall decided to take a shortcut home and by the time I realized the course deviation, it was too late to go back.

Furthermore, I started in Prospect Park, so my finish was also in Prospect Park.  However, the route that TA laid out for the ride from Central Park to Brooklyn, wasn't so good for the late afternoon, especially in the rain, so I just took the Westside home.  No matter though, I still got in 100 miles for the day.  I think the ride to Prospect Park from Central Park is an improvement over the TA route.
