I also did this to test my new Garmin eTrex Vista CX unit to see how it would work with my iMac ... it\'s always fun trying to make PC stuff work on a Mac.
Handy programs:
GPS Photo LInker -- http://www.earlyinnovations.com/gpsphotolinker/ ... -- geocodes photos based on .gpx timestamps. Works well, and it\'s free.
GPSbabel: http://www.gpsbabel.org/ ... open source GPS translation service... handy for making KML files for Google earth. Also free.
GPS Visualizer -- http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/ -- web site where you can upload your GPS tracks and imbed them in Google maps. Has many options and exports maps directly into everytrail.
Garmin RoadTrip: Mac program from Garmin for working with tracks. Garmin\'s Mac page: http://www8.garmin.com/macosx/

Thanks for sharing. Yes, the elevation profile tells it all. I checked out your sites, lots of good stuff there!

This is a very steep hike, both up and down. Going up Horse Heaven is probably one of the steepest in the region, but if you have bad knees you\'d probably prefer to go up rather than down.
