Tips:
Leave Milner Pass TH about an hour and a half before daybreak -- the boulder field on Ida is best navigated with sunlight.
Set a sustainable pace for a long day - nearly the whole trek is above treeline.
Leave no trace, leave it better than you found it, and support organizations preserving the environment.
