This is one of my favorite hikes in Rolling Hills, because there's only a short piece of paved-road hiking along Portuguese Bend road. Lots canyon trails and horse trails.

Tips:
Martingale Trailhead (the start/end point) is the only public portion of this one, and parking is limited (though I've never had a problem). You may see horses on any portion of this trail, but encountering other hikers is quite rare.
