Story:
This is one of my favorite hikes in Yosemite. This year wild flowers were just magnificent. The views are magnificent. Feet soaking in Tenaya Lake after the hike priceless.
We were not acclimatized well to altitude and for some reason that bothered me more than on my previous CR hike. Taking it easy and drinking a lot of water helped.

Tips:
Steep switchbacks at the beginning of the trail. Do not tire yourself out too soon. Then the trail goes a bit down and flattens out. Last part can be difficult, it is another uphill without shade.
If you are afraid of heights, don't go on the top of the rocky ridge of the mountain. Stay to the side and a bit below and you will be fine.
Make sure you have plenty of water for the last 3 miles of the hike.
