Tips:
Water sources are scarce coming up and down Mount Monadnock. Be sure to bring several liters of water for this section. Also- a fierce windstorm blocked off a 2+ mile section in Harrisville on the way to Nelson. Unfortunately this requires a 2.3 mile detour on pavement- hard on the feet and not very scenic. Thankfully traffic is light on the way to the tiny town of Nelson, NH.
