Story:
This is a short loop beginning near Fukuoka University Hospital. It runs just below a temple in the foothills of Mount Aburayama then follows a paved road up the side of the mountain. At the end of the road, there is a steep, rough hiking trail that runs back down and finishes near the hospital. There is another hiking trail that crosses the road and continues back down to the shrine. You can also follow this up to the summit of the mountain if you like hiking. The trails down are not suitable for novice mountain bikers, there are several quite difficult sections, so best for intermediate level riders.
