USElection2008 in Palo Alto & more Details

Story: For four days its been raining, often hard. Yesterday I picked the perfect moment to get drenched on my 1.5 mile ride home from work. But today, today is spectacular. It's dry, breezy, colors, such as they are here in California, are full fall splendor. It's a great day to vote.
I had a vote by mail ballot, so I could go anywhere to drop it off. My old regular spot is no longer in service, so I called the Santa Clara Registrar and was given the location of a place nearby my route to Costco. On my where there, I found an even closer one and completed the process.
I took a few photos of the scenery because it is so grand, and some of shopping and fruits and vegetables on display. There are few voters and voting signs, too.
