Story:
Day 2 of the Gaining Ground Expedition began with a cold and windy entry at Simmesport. Thunder and lightning from the night before nearly flattened the tents, but by morning we were ready to explore the river.
Living Lands and Waters was doing a cleanup at the campsite that morning and we were able to meet up with them for a little bit before heading out.
