Story:
If you think life is too joyful and beautiful ,or if you feel you are curious about the smell of hell -  try exploring Etna on a gloomy , foggy day like that
It was an interesting experience, nevertheless it felt good to get out of this place . On that day it seems we were the only ones interested, not a living soul on the way

I like trails on Volcanos. Thank You! This is the only choice for me to see how it looks like. I hope I will see something like this - one time.

We had no maps. We followed the road until we realized it does not lead to the summit, then we left it and used intuition to find out ascending direction. We descended taking directions from the GPS to the starting point

Used this trace as basis for my hike. The trail seemed to follow a road for most part, but at one point the tral deviated from the road. Walking on the road looked more appealing and continued that way. Total for me was approx 13 kilometers to the summit (and actually not on this summit, but one next to it).
