Story:
Hiked this as the finale to my Six Pack of Peaks training plan for the JMT. Terrific weather and a long, strenuous (but rewarding) hike.
I really enjoyed the forested section that paralleled Vivian Creek. The higher sections are very exposed, but offer terrific panoramic views.
This is an all-day affair, so plan for an early start. We started hiking at 6am, and with breaks, got back to our car at 6pm.

Tips:
- Start early! This is a full day hike (~10 hours)
- You'll need a permit, even for day hikes
- You'll need an Adventure Pass for parking at the trailhead
