Story:
Did this hike in November 2009 with oldest son the week my family rented a cabin in Idyllwild to celebrate my birthday. I've gotta say it's the way to go. I love the outdoors, but I also love a soft bed, hot shower, climate control, kitchen, cable and wi-fi. Been saving my GPS tracks with Garmin MapSource long before I had heard of Everytrail.com. Parked at Humber Park and hiked to trailhead at Taquitz View Drive. Recorded the gps track for the return hike back to Humber Park.

Tips:
For a shorter trip, bring two cars and park one at the end point of your choice, then shuttle over to the trailhead of your choice. Post your Adventure Pass.
