Story:
(Stats for trailhead to saddle. The summit is not included in this rating)
Climb per mile: 1,163ft
Ascent Rating: 3.6
Distance Rating: 1.9
Overall Rating: 6.6
My first Mount Olympus trip this year. The trail/gps track for this trip is extremely accurate, although I did lose the elevation data. After reaching the saddle, I was worried I wouldn't have enough time to climb up the peak but I did so anyway.. sustaining an ankle and knee injury that made my trip down the mountain take even longer than coming up. It was well worth it though.

Tips:
If you take the scramble up to the South Peak, look for barriers made of rocks that others have set up to help you find your way. The scramble isn't that bad except for a few small spots where it becomes very annoying.
If it is your first time, wait for others and watch where and how they go up. The views at the top are what this trip is all about!
