Story:
This is an easy hike with very little elevation. It starts off walking through open cattle range. The cows watched us intently and mooed to eachother as we walked by.
We caught sight of groundhogs sunning on the rocks around the creek, as well as a few snakes on the trail. Hawks and other birds were flying over head.
We stopped at the bedrock pools, which is a nice place to have a picnic lunch.
