This week myself and Isaac fancied a day caching by bike.
This week myself and Isaac fancied a day caching by bike.
A group of caches to the SW of Derby along an old railway line looked perfect. We could then move on to various caches around the nearby village of Hilton. After this, we would end up with a ride round the new caches along the Blue Route at the Conkers Discovery Centre in the National Forest near Swadlincote.
We still had time left at the end of the day so did a few more caches along the Trent and Mersey canal in Burton before heading home.
The weather was sunny but not too hot - perfect for caching by bike.
We ended up with 46 finds for the day and quite a few miles of riding chalked up on our bikes :-).

looked a great day ! 60 miles impressive too .. Hilton Nature reserve is a great place..
