Story:
This is hike 82 in the book "100 Hikes in the Central Oregon Cascades" by William L. sullivan. This hike is rated Easy, and it is fairly flat, but the path to the summit is long.
The summit itself isn't much to look at, with brush blocking your view of many of the good views. There are a few meadows however that make this a good hike, with views of the Sisters as well as Diamond Peak.
We went in mid May, but the ideal time to hit this trail is probably in early June, when all the flowers are in bloom in the meadows.
