We went last August 2011. The mosquitoes were crazy. It's a beautiful scenery though. Just bring clothes to cover yourself up.

Sorry, I had the wrong date on the trip when you commented. We took the trip in September 2009. I do not know the mosquito conditions but it looks like there is still significant snow on the ground according to the National Forest Service snow reports.

went here on a day hike in Aug last year. It was pretty awesome. Any feedback on current mosquito conditions and snow on the trails (June 2010)?
