Story:
One of my favorite things about Almaden Quicksilver County Park is that there is always a hike option, whether you want something short and easy or something long and steep. The park offers both nature and an interesting history so it's fun to wander around and see what you come across.

I decided to take advantage of a nice afternoon and get in a short hike. The goal was to gauge my condition after a week of serious allergies (do I want to do a long hike this weekend or not?) and check out the wildflowers. While I can definitely say I'm not at 100%, the flowers definitely are. There are some great blooms along the New Almaden trail especially.

I have a guide that identifies it as "Virgin's Bower" but I haven't confirmed it yet.

Nice pictures! What's 860? I've seen that misidentified (?) as poison oak elsewhere -- I'm about 99% sure it's not PO, though, right?
