Story:
Some day this trail will actually be part of MTRP when it is finally given up by the Marines. It is a beauty! We started from the Old Mission Dam and went North through Oak Canyon and kept going when we came to the Rt 52 bridge. From there it was all new territory for me, out a couple of miles and then back down Spring Canyon. After passing under the other Rt 52 bridge, we completed the loop back toward the Dam. The flowers today were as good as I have seen in MTRP. Plenty of water in the Oak Canyon Creek and just a great day for a hike.
