Story:
This GPS friendly map denotes 78 notable headstones or grave markers who have their final resting place at Green Mount Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland. This map may assist you in locating the grave markers while you are in the cemetery. Some final searching might be required once you get to the specified area. The official site for the cemetery is located at the Green Mount Cemetery site. Utilizing your GPS device or smartphone to find the graves will make your life much easier if you are searching for someone in this particular cemetery because the paper map provided at the office can be more than a bit confusing, especially if the weather is bad and visibility is poor. You may use the options here at EveryTrail to transfer these grave marker locations to your iPhone, see the free App on the right panel. You may also download a gpx file of the grave markers to transfer to your GPS or Smartphone device, and also view the map in Google Earth with the downloadable kml file. Look for the download options on the right hand side, you may have to join Every Trail to use them but that will only take a few seconds of your time.
You may learn more about those interred at Green Mount over at the Find A Grave website.
I have also created a similar map of the Green Mount Cemetery in Google Maps that can assist you in transferring the waypoints to many other types of devices such as Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile or Nokia S60. One may click on a name in the Google Maps site in the left hand column and see where the burial site is on the map, which is denoted by a pink pushpin.
The cemetery includes many business leaders, philanthropists, Artists, Authors, Military Leaders and Assassins. You will find the following people:

I wonder if there is a creative connect-a-dot you could do between the waypoints to draw an image...
