Story:
Nice hike up the mountain on the other side of the valley from our village. The trail starts out pretty wide but soon narrows and is fairly rocky. Beautiful views of Finikaria, the Germasogeia Dam, Limassol, and Akrotiri, plus the mountains and villages to the north and east. Highly recommended! Next time maybe we'll make it all the way to the other end, but Skyler was getting a little restless.

Thank you for the quick reply! I'll try to give it a go asap as it would be the closest trail to Limassol :) I'll post an update regarding the trail running experience there once done

Honestly, when we set out on the hike, we were looking for the Kyparissia Nature Trail. There's a sign showing the trail, but we missed the trialhead. Still, most of the route coincides with the Nature Trail. It's been a couple of years now since I did the hike--I've since moved to Malta--but by my recollection, much though not all of it would be suitable for trail running. A few sections require scrambling, but not much. Also, we passed very few people, so you won't have to dodge other hikers. Certainly worth a go. Good luck, let me know how it works out!
