Story:
Took a two night trip (three if you count camping at Mattole) to Cooskie Creek. While there we hiked up Cooskie creek to the Cooskie Creek Trail and took it up and over Lake and Spanish Ridges, returning down the Spanish Ridge trail to Randall creek and on up the beach back to camp.
We got a little rain going in, then beautiful weather for the remainder. Quite an amazing trip!

Tips:
- Be prepared for rain.
- After leaving Mattole stay high towards the hills and you'll be blessed with bluff trails that come and go. They're much easier to hike on than the sand.
- Know your tides and time your movement through tight tidal zones on an outgoing or low tide.
- Driftwood shelters are a great place to pitch your tent out of the sometimes relentless wind.
