Story:
This is a great day out at any time of the year, but in the conditions we did it today you needed to have full winter gear, ice axe and crampons. Don't be put off as I say it can be done at any time of the year. In the summer it makes a great trek with fantastic views, to the north over the Solway to Scotland, to the West the Isle of Man and to the South Derwent Water and the Fells beyond.
