Story:
On day one we hiked in on the Mountaineer's Route of Whitney and camped at Iceberg Lake, climbed East Buttress (aka Pee Wee Route) on Mount Whitney the next day, Fishhook Arete on Mount Russell the day after, and finally hiked out on day four.

Tips:
Start the climbs early to avoid the Sierra thunderstorms. Light snow fell on us as we were descending the mountaineer's route of Whitney. Click here for the full trip report and pictures
