Story:
We had been looking forward to this year's event since we heard about it from a good friend and volunteer, and we were so glad when Shelly and the crew had fortunately re-scheduled the date. This allowed us to attend this one which is one of our favorites that we look forward to each year :) Nothing better than to run around in the night time with a group of friends (in the snow, in the mud, in whatever condition the trails are in), have some good desserts and hot chocolate, and end the evening with a fun activity. Well, this year was no different then the past years - we had a great time hooking up with SerenityNow, Finding Fraggle Rock, Barkie, and TickMagnet for a nice walk about the trails. The trails were surprisingly sloppy, but that didn't deter us from having a GREAT time and enjoying the evening. We managed to collect all the dogs we needed to pull the sled and actually didn't fare too poorly during the races, but our 'team mates' Barkie/TickMagnet made out the best in the end, and actually got to race in the finals (though we left before the final round). We had a blast, and we were happy to see so many great friends and even met some new ones. Thank you to Shelley, all the volunteers, and the Medina County Park District for another GREAT winter/night event. We look forward to next year. TFTE!!!
