Joshua Tree - Lost Palms Oasis Out and Back - California, United States

An excellent and beautiful walk which shows the diversity of the JTNP. While clearly still a desert, this bit is in the Colorado Desert as opposed to the Mojave which isn't that far to the north. Not a JT in sight for starters.

While there is quite an elevation gain, it is reasonably gently although the climb up from the oasis itself is more strenuous.
