Story:
Six of the Codgery had breakfast in Allpine, drove to the Buckman Springs exit off I-8 and parked on Old rt 80 at Boulder Oaks. We took the Kitchen Creek trail up past the Falls and turned around at Kitchen Creek Road. Nice cool day for a hike. We only saw one other hiker, a young fellow wearing a kilt and carrying a pack the size of Rhode Island-----claimed he was just finishing a 20 mile walk.
