Story:
Nine Webelos Cub Scouts (10 and 11yr olds), one Boy Scout (12 yr old) and five dads started this hike at 8:30am on a beautiful, sunny, crisp 20 degree morning. It was the perfect day for a hike. I've hiked this trail several times with my older scouts. It's just a gem of a trail. Beautiful views from the bluffs a couple of hundred feet above the Missouri river. The boys had a great time and kept a great pace. My iPhone Trails GPS app reported 7 miles, but the trail is supposedly 8.2 miles. It was my first time using this GPS app and I'm thinking it's not real accurate. I highly recommend this trail!
