Peak - Pokfulam - Peak Details

As the weather was really fine, we planned an easy trip around The Peak to see the gorgeous views of Hong Kong Island.
Taking Bus No. 15 from Central, we reached The Peak Galleria after about 30 minutes. The starting point of the trip was at Lugard Road. At the junction of Lugard Road and Harlech Road near the small playground, we took Harlech Road downhill to follow the direction to Pokfulam Reservoir. The path was shaded by trees, making it a comfortable walk. It should make a good standby route for hiking in hot summer days.
The pavilion near High West commanded good views of Queen Mary Hospital, Sasoon Road, Sandy Bay and Bel Air. The steps going down from there were then quite steep.
We initially planned to go all the way to Aberdeen. However, it would have taken 2 more hours to go and we'd then miss the lunch. We therefore went uphills again near Pokfulam Reservoir. The last part of the trip walked along Pokfulam Reservoir Road and the exit was at The Peak Galleria again.

Tips: The positions of bus terminal for Route no. 15 are different according to time - it was at Exchange Square phase III before 10AM and at Outlying Island Ferry Pier no. 5 (Cheung Chau) after 10AM.

What a nice world map with best service. This is one of the best world's map which I have ever saw. I wonder what a clear image while I am using wireless internet service. Thanks for the wonderful post.
