Story:
Excellent route at Stone Mountain State Park, which is about 60 miles northwest of Winston-Salem.
It starts at Wolf Rock Trail, takes in Wolf Rock and Cedar Rock, continues on Black Jack Ridge Trail, descends to meadow at base of Stone Mountain, then takes in most of the Stone Mountain Summit Loop.
Nice eight-miler, especially in autumn with the leaves turning.
Trip report to come at Two-Heel Drive.

Tips:
Open granite faces are more dangerous than they appear -- be very careful.
