This is the regularly scheduled flight from Westerly, RI to Block Island. On Columbus Day weekend, New England Airlines was flying two and sometimes three small planes on the half-hour to absorb the demand.
My Blackberry did well for a while, entertaining all with its elevation and ground speed, but you can see that it lost track about half-way out to the island. Unfortunately, that's where I took most of my photos, so they're not geotagged very well.
